Friendly’s is an amazing restaurant that my family has been obsessed with for as long as I can remember. The brand has since declined and is slowly dying and closing many locations. To revitalise the brand, I created a rebranding campaign .

To re-brand this diner and ice cream shop, I started with redesigning the existing logo to have a little bit more of a 50’s diner feel. Throughout this project, I played around with the idea of nostalgia branding and researched how nostalgia branding is being used in various markets.
After re-designing the logo, I focused on different interactive ways to make the restaurant appeal more to the target audience. For this piece of the re-branding campaign I focused on a target audience of children from the ages of 6-12 years old. To appeal to this audience, I created an interactive ice cream ordering tablet.
